Liz Farmer, Research Associate

Liz Farmer is an online facilitator and instructional designer for EdTech Leaders Online, and supports educators across the country in implementing local online professional development programs. She is also involved in an NSF funded project called Optimizing Online Professional Education, which investigates the effectiveness of online professional development programs for teachers.

Before joining ETLO, Liz worked on an EDC project focused on building the professional capacity of teachers to use research-based assessment strategies in their classrooms. Her past work experience also includes managing several projects for the Learning Lab at Lesley University, producing educational software and teaching English and Italian courses for children and adults. Liz holds a B.A. in Educational Studies from Brown University and an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
