Part 3: Explore the Deadline for Reaching a Goal
  1. Projects must set a deadline for reaching their goals, which can be from 1 to 90 days. Explore the question, "How many days did projects set to reach their goals?" by making a new graph.
    1. Graph:
      • Click on the  button to create a graph. 
      • Drag the attributes you want to the x- and y-axes. 
      • Click on the word cases at the top of the graph and write a title for your graph.
    1. Write:
      • What are the range, mean, and median?
    1. Discuss:
      • What you notice about the number of days that projects set to reach their goals?
      • What is the shape of the data?
  1. Add to your graph to compare the days given to reach the deadline for the successful and failed projects.
    1. Graph:
      • Drag the attribute Did_it_Succeed? to the y-axis to see the data for the successful and failed projects. 
    1. Discuss:
      • What do you notice about how the number of days compares for the successful and failed projects
